Computerized and Motorized Knitting Machines
This exhibit will have two computerized knitting machines on display: one hacked with the AYAB project to print images, the other motorized to crank out fabric. Knit your own yarn bracelet on a hacked knitting machine and take it home!
Anna Kaziunas France
Anna Kaziunas France is a digital fabrication consultant, author, experimental educator, and user experience (UX) designer. She utilizes her background in interaction design, information architecture, and human factors to create practical digital fabrication-focused (machines that turn codes into physical things) books. Her most recent book is Design for CNC: Furniture Projects and Fabrication Technique. She's also the co-author of Getting Started with MakerBot, and she compiled Make: 3D Printing.
