Wanderlust Ceramics
Craig Crawford
Wanderlust Ceramics is a ceramic studio where Craig Crawford is working most days. All the work she produces is hand built using a slab roller and molds. She started out as a Textile designer after attending RI School of Design and worked in NY for 10 years designing woven fabrics. She moved back to RI to start a handmade ceramic business which incorporated silkscreen techniques learned from her textile training. The tile business was sold in 1995 since then she has maintained a ceramic studio producing dinnerware pieces, sculptural pieces and commissions. She has participated in shows at the Hera Gallery, the Van Vessum Gallery, the Jamestowns Arts Center as well as out of state venues.
