I'm currently the Open Hardware Community Manager (OHCM) of AS220 Industries, which is an umbrella for the Printshop, Fab Lab and Media Lab at the AS220 community arts center in Providence. As OHCM I lead the kits and product development activities of the AS220 Industries, which includes the kits and products of the Modern Device line. Previously I was an editor at O'Reilly Media and Maker Media where I co-authored the book Getting Started with Raspberry Pi. As an artist I have recently been working on building new musical instruments including the iOS apps Noisemusick and Doctor Om. I am also interested in the doing more projects in the area of Design Fiction.
